D. Arthur McBride has been creating art professionally since 1979. In October of 2000 she opened D. Arthur McBride Portrait Studio and Gallery in Havana, FL and now shares the Gallery space with her son, Thomas M. Thomson. She is in a line of three generations of artists, including her mom, Esther Arthur, and her two sons, Thomas M. Thomson and Ron Thomson, who is also a professional artist living in Colorado. “Art is a family affair” she says.

D. Arthur McBride specializes in commissioned portraits, but also enjoys creating equestrian art, landscapes, still life paintings, and emotive subjects.
